THE 60 HOUR
FILM BLITZ
The 60 Hour Film Blitz

The Department of Film Studies stages the 60 Hour Film Blitz Community Film Festival in early March every year. We host a film competition open to all members of the St Andrews community, including staff and students.
Participants create a three-minute original film, shot, edited and scored over a 60 hour period.
Following the competition, we will host a formal screening of all entries and an Awards Ceremony, to be held at the Byre Theatre.
Filmmaker Joe Russo, director of the recent hit Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and director and originator of the television series Arrested Development and Community, will be serving on our panel of judges.
